C6Z Air Conditioning Issue
My `06 is pumping out nice cold air at highway speeds but when stop and go or idling, starts to blow hot air! Freon checked last week and topped to 1.6#. Noticed funky odor on startup, however.
Any guidance, suggestions? Tks in advance.

Fan working properly, coming on at the right time/temp?
The odor is common, it's mildew. There are commercially available products to spray into the system to kill the mildew or pay a dealer or after market vendor to clean it out. Or could try spraying Lysol into the intake. Here's a little more info:
