Does anyone know the aproximate weight difference between stock and aftermarket headers? What I am trying to determine is how much is the weight difference when you change from a stock C6 system and aftermarket headers, high flow random cats, coupled to a magnaflow catback. I realize that's quite a few variables but I'm still curious of the forums consensous.

All depends on which aftermarket heads your talking about. Some heads are beefier than others, but the difference will be minimal.

He's talking about "headers" not heads.

On a C5 system I weighed, the stock manifolds and H pipe were 25 lbs heavier than a set of TPIS long tubes and Random Technology Xpipe.

C6 manifolds and H pipe vs LT's and typical X pipe should be similar.
