i just noticed your in michigan, if you want someone who is very knowlegeable about the A6 you should contact phil (forum name roadrebel). trust me if you have him tune your car you wont be disappointed.

As a few people have already mentioned, it really is a question of abuse level rather than an absolute HP or TQ rating.

With that said, I've found that once you get past 550rwhp you're gonna start to have problems.
