I recently had the brakes changed and have noticed that it takes alot more pressure on the brake pedal to stop the car after having new brae shoes put on does this make sense? Idk what the problem is? Is it low brake fluid? How can I check? any ideas?
If the calipers were not replaced, there should be no air in the brake lines since the system was not actually "opened."
Did you switch to ceramic pads or some other medium other than the original OEM pads? A different brake pad material can result in a different feel at the pedal.
Did you bed the new brake pads properly? Bedding the pads is critical to optimum performance, low noise, and long-wearing components.
I have no clue what they did? I just felt the brakes and they feel not that strong at stopping the car. Right now my truck feels like it has way more stopping power. I can push the brake down pretty hard and the car will stop normal when it should be coming to a screeching halt.
