Default Brake Problem

I recently had the brakes changed and have noticed that it takes alot more pressure on the brake pedal to stop the car after having new brae shoes put on does this make sense? Idk what the problem is? Is it low brake fluid? How can I check? any ideas?

Did you bleed the brakes properly with a tech tool that cycles the ABS? Sounds like there's air in the lines.

Yeah I can push the brake down kinda hard and it is not stopping like it is meant to stop it will kind of glide to a stop.

If the calipers were not replaced, there should be no air in the brake lines since the system was not actually "opened."

Did you switch to ceramic pads or some other medium other than the original OEM pads? A different brake pad material can result in a different feel at the pedal.

Did you bed the new brake pads properly? Bedding the pads is critical to optimum performance, low noise, and long-wearing components.

I have no clue what they did? I just felt the brakes and they feel not that strong at stopping the car. Right now my truck feels like it has way more stopping power. I can push the brake down pretty hard and the car will stop normal when it should be coming to a screeching halt.

Harder pads can require more pedal pressure. Race pads require more pressure until they are hot. What did you have before/after?

hello everyone im new to this i recently bought a 2009 c6 corvette with the z51 package,
i seem to be having some brake trouble when i park my car for a while my brakes go dead and when i start up it regains pressure i think its a booster problem however it gains pressure to the point where it feels like the brakes are dragging. can anyone give me some advice on how to solve this problem asap.
