After reading many threads on end link noise I still have not been able to figure out what is causing the noise.
I see many posts that claim that all Heim joint end links (including the no noise types) make more noise than the OEM joints. But I see no discussion about what cause the noise in the first place.
My suspension is making all kinds of clunk sounds at low speed under light torque reversal conditions. Looking for a solution and would like to understand the end link issue before I dump the dollars.
If it clunks when getting on/off gas (even lightly) then it's the rear axle nuts. If it clunks when even slowly going over a speed bump, then its the end links.
