Default CF Front Splitters

Who makes the strongest front splitter available?

I have a K model and it is as thin as an eggshell with a very weak weave.

I am not sure about the GM or APR.

Anyone?

I busted my OE splitter on a road gator.

I replaced it with a Katech splitter and I don't think you can find a better one than the one from Katech!!

The weave in the Katech c/f is a perfect match for the OE piece.

The OE c/f has a weird greenish/yellowish tint to it, but the Katech piece is a very nice dark gray/black.

The Katech splitter is much more substantial. In the picture below you can see the lip under the front edge of the Katech splitter that is designed to bolt on their undertray for even more aero advantage. That lip makes the Katech piece a lot stronger than the GM piece.

Good luck finding a good one, but IMHO Katech makes the best one out there, and it's about 1/3 the price of one from GM!!!

BTW, whichever splitter you go with, you need to install the reinforcing piece (either from GM or Katech - they're both almost exactly the same) to keep the splitter from pulling down the fascia and allowing the splitter to drag on the road surface.
