Default Help, rings carboned up?
I have an 05' C6 LS2, it has under 20K miles on the car, 3K miles with the Procharger. The car started missing and wouldn't run over 4500 RPM with banging out. My mechanics took the motor out of the car and are saying that the rings in 2 of the cylinders are siezed in the piston due to carbon. What gives? If this is the case does it require a complete engine rebuild? Or can you just re-ring the pistons?

It will depend on how the bore micrometers out. You should absolutely put in forged pistons at the very least if you are keeping the Procharger. That and find a better tuner.
