But why a .100" smaller intake valve for the new LS7 head? And .060" smaller for the LS3 head? Iam sure they have a reason but I would sure like to hear it.

would the smaller valves be for better velocity and more torque??

That for sure would happen with a smaller valve.

I was drooling over them Tuesday. I was reviewing my head options and those appear to be the best out there once they are released.

Does anyone know the advantages of LS7 rockers?

My understanding is that they plan to have a kit that includes a cam just like their LS2 550 kit they have today.

That will be a good package for people. I already have a cam and wondered if it would be in the optimal range with the heads. I'll wait till ECS has the head specs and find out.
Has anyone heard of pricing yet?

I have the TF 225's on my LS2. Picked up 45 rwhp w just a bolt on. If the
TF Heads for the LS3 are anything like the 225's on LS2's then the LS3's
will finally win the HP race and probably reach 550 RWHP.

Bigger valves don't necessarily make more power. The valve needs to be the optimal diameter for the head port and cylinder bore. A bigger valve on a head port which is designed for a small valve won't make any more power. Many times, it will make less.

Valves are simply plugs. Once the valve start opening, it is just blocking air flow. Also, a bigger valve is closer to the cylinder wall thus air flow will be restricted if its too close. This is called shrouding.
