door lock

I was playing around today and noticed when I lock my doors via the fob the doors don't lock but the alarm sets the doors do lock and unlock via button

Guess when you have the key fob the door unlocks automatically when you go to open the door, beacuse when I dont have the FOB the door stays locked...
