i am having a problem with my nav. screen stuck on nighttime mode, the auto sensor wont recognize that it is daytime. it worked perfect from 05 til now. will this also affect my driving lights? is it the same sensor? i am able to manually change the anv screen and put it in day mode but would like to fix it so that auto would work again.

I've accidentally hit my interior light **** (left of the steering wheel). Push **** to toggle on or off. Interior lights would be on, so may not be your issue.
Software glitch makes a lot of sense too me. You could also reboot the nav itself and see if it helps by pulling its fuse, wait about 30 seconds and plug it in again. Rebooting seems to have solved some people's issues before.
thanks for your replies it seems to have worked itself out, when i switched the setting back to auto the screen works the way it should in the day and night.
