?? GM does not make an A6 Z06. All Z06's are manual.

After seeing your post, I checked my 09 Z06 and it idles at 600 when running at 195 to 205 degrees, sometimes dips to 580 and sometimes jumps to 620, but overall, pretty consistent at 600 RPM

FYI the 2009 Z06 has the same target idle speed table as the 2007

As soon as I figure out where GM hid the distributor, I'll hook up my dwell meter/tach and compare against the dashboard tach.

Probably 20 years here! Had dual points in a 60 Vette that were a bear to set right.

You only
think they were set right.
I did a few sets of dual points. I even converted a '66 Mustang to dual points by drilling holes in the distributor mounting plate. What was I thinking.
