Default stroker build

I'm considering building a 402 stroker out of my LS2 using the livernois kit and had a few question I have not been able to find the answers to.

1) I have the A&A T-Trim Kit and I think 14 PSI boost should be easily obtained. Will the LS2 stock heads and block hold this well or am I going to have head gsket problems.

2) Who would you use to provide the stroker parts? (I live in central VA)

3) I am using a snow meth kit, what compresion ratio should I build to? In other words... Can I keep the 10.9 to 1 ratio with 14 lbs boost and a meth kit? I'm thinking the meth would keep me safe at 10.9 or even higher.

4) do I need to deck the heads and block for this? I'd like to think that is overkill.

Thanks in advanced for any input.

I am building an N/A 402 kit right now and having my block sent to a guy building it for me. Not sure what turn around time you are looking at but i could update you with mine as it progressed.

I went with Scat forged crank the ARP 8740 bolts (not the 2000 since they are overkill for my application) forged rods and mahle pistons. As yours is a FI application you will have some differences for sure, but good to see someone else doing a 402.

If I were building it I would still use flat tops. They will have valve reliefs which will lower the compression down to low 10's. '

I priced out forged internals and found SDPC to be helpful and cost effective.

HKE just took in a blower engine at 10.5:1 to replace a few pistons

Lemans you should contact me about that scat forged crank and FI use I've been given some information recently about them that you might not like.

meth is for safety, some use it just to run boost, I would build it properly and use the meth for saftey but thats me. There are those who who try and run 11.5:1 or 12:1 on pump gas and 18 lbs of boost, have the worlds largest intercooler and a 5 gallon standalone tank for meth. I'm not one of them
