Im going to buy a C6 -06 twin turbo and i think the tranny is giving up.
It dont feel right when it downshifts or uppshifts, not as smoth as my last Vette that was -07 with S/C.
Is there any differences from -06 to -08 in the A6 tranny, will a -07 fit a -06?

The valve bodies were improved in 2008 and there are other subtle differences but an A6 from any year will fit. You will however need to have access to a Tech II scanner because the BCM will need to be reprogrammed to recognize the different TCM in the transmission.
I've had it done a few times before (my local service manager lives about 3 miles from me) and it takes about 30 mins to do. If you don't have access to a Tech II you will still be able to drive the car but you won't be able to change any of the values in either the engine tune or the trans tune until you do.
