What is the most hp and tq you C6 guys have ever ran through a stock C6 ZO6 clutch assembly. I'm looking for a cheap upgrade for about 550 rear wheel hp and 575 tq. I'm a fairly modded c5 running some nitrous.

The stock LS7 has been known to have issues at stock HP levels if you run DR's.

The best option for your application would be the Katech LS9x dual disk setup. It is inexpensive compared to most of the aftermarket duals on the market and will hold anything you can throw at it. The pedal effort remains unchanged, drivability is stock, but it will allow good 60' times and remain consistant at the track without issues.

I am running a special on them and I have sold dozens of their kits. PM if you are interested in a clutch with awesome capabilities and non eof the usual trade offs of a dual.

I would agree with Richie, depends on how the car is being used.

Street tires, I start to see them slip around 550 rwhp. Put a sticky tire on it and you can kill the stock one if you get a good launch.

Clutches, like cams should be paired up with how the car is being used.
