Cracked Floor
Has anybody had to repair a cracked floor on a standard C6 coupe. Can it be repaired with fiberglass, or should it be replaced and if replaced how much work is it. Drivers side floor, crack by the gas and brake pedal, did not hurt the firewall, looks like the car ran over a truck tire or something like that.

I can't see why you just couldn't mix up some resin after you have the site prepped and have your patch ready, I would sandwich the crack on both sides if you can and then sand and finish it to your standards.

If water got into the balsa wood you could have a problem. The balsa wood provides the strength for the floor but it is very fragile when exposed to the elements.
