LSCHLEM I got one pass yesterday and it was my first pass. The car went 11.37 at almost 124mph with a 7.42 at 97mph 1/8 mile and they started yelling at me to slow down. I did have one pass with a 1.71 60' that would have been a 11.25 pass, but I was running brackets and went 11.48 at 105mph with a 7.30 at 98mph 1/8 mile.
Thats a great start! Congrats on making it a round yesterday.
With seat time I think a high ten/lower 11 is in your future.
Yea Doug when I do gears 10.90's are a definite. I'm just to scared to push that stock rear pass a 1.7 60'. With the 4.10's and a 1.5 60' 10.90's are there. Even with the 1.71 60' it didnt feel like I was launching the car hard, as it was a quick slip of the clutch at 4K.

If the Car went 124 MPH that suggests that A PORTED TB & PORTED FAST 102 should get you to 127 or 128. You just might make a 10.99. If you add the TFS 225's you will easily make 515 RWHP. Check out DSP300. He has
the G6x3 w TFS 225's cut for compression. He made 10.5x w one pass
and 527 RW on the Dyno.

I'm doing almost a direct copy of his setup except the EWP. I'm going to shoot for 10.90's with just gears first and then the ported 102 is going on and 10.90's shouldnt be a problem at all.
Nice times...you should have no trouble hitting 10s at all with your current setup and a decent launch.
Launching the car has never been a problem for me. It's just how hard do I want to launch it. I'm sure I could cut a low 1.6 but that's not enough for 10.90's and the stock rear might just go tell me to go eff myself.

That 10.9x is so elusive I never got there. I got DR's w r555 on 18" wheels. As I added power and passed thru the 450 RWHP area The Clutch
started sticking to the Floor. I did Ranger Flush big time. Then I put the TF225's on cut for compression. The Clutch got worse and must be replaced with a LS9 unit. Just something to think about.

I agree that 10.9 is like a magical number. It seems to take some effort for a MN6 car N/A to run those times. I'm confident I can do it. It will just take some practice. Also as far as the clutch sticking to the floor it seems as when I went through the traps and hit the clutch it sticks to the floor and takes a little effort to get out of gear (seems as clutch is not fully disengaging after it gets hot). I also do the ranger mod religiously. Next mod will be a Tick master hopefully that will prolong the clutch life some as I add power, but a ls9 clutch will also be in my future.
