Default New Cam only #'s

Well I just got back from ECS where Doug worked his magic on the tune. The car laid down 440whp and 417wtq through the stock exhaust, stock intake mani, and TB. Mods are in my sig. I'm happy with the numbers and hope to trap 123-125mph at the track on sunday.

The degree mark, (F°) can be made by holding down the alt key and inputing the number 248 from the number pad. The mark will appear when you release the alt key.

Me too.

I tried different numbers and came up with different symbols. Here is a link to the list: usefulshortcuts.com/alt-codes/maths-alt-codes

Was the TB and mani ported, or just 100% stock?

What kind of cam? Does your car have a intake?

Thanks guys. That is also the first I've heard of the ° symbol. The intake mani and TB are 100% stock not ported at all. Also the cam is a G6X3 for the LS2. I'm hoping with a ported FAST 102 and ported TB the car will make at least 460whp. Pre cam numbers were 392whp 394TQ.

Thanks Doug! I probally wont et that well since my rear is bone stock and wont be launching hard. I also dont have a cage so I have to be 11.49 or slower. At least the MPH will tell me what the car is capable of.

Nice numbers

I've been considering the G6X3 for my LS2 daily driver. How is the driveability in your opinion? Does it sound pretty choppy/lumpy?

Did you go with the .040 gaskets for increased compression?

Thx, kevin

The cam is definitely noticable as far as being lopey. Drivability is not that bad sometimes it surges in low gears with very light acceleration, but anything over 2k rpms it drives fine. Even 6th gear on the highway at 60-70mph is fine you'll just have to learn how to drive the car and what you can and cant do with the gas pedal. The heads have not been off the car yet as I'm doing TFS 225's in the spring with increased compression so no need to bump the compression now. When you mash the gas it puts a huge grin on your face from ear to ear as second gear is over blistfully fast and as you shift to third and look at the speedo your going way to fast on a public road.

Here is a link to the car idling at 700 rpms before the tune. Now it idles at 900 and is much smoother, but DEFINITELY still noticable.

So you do have headers? I was under the impression that you had stock exhaust manifolds.

I wonder how it would work with stock exhaust manifolds, or if they would choke the motor down because of the lack of air flow.

I'm trying to get to 450whp with stock exhaust manifolds, cats, and NA.

Yes I do have headers just stock mufflers. I think it would be difficult to get 450 with stock manifolds. You could always do ls7 manifolds and that will make 450.

Good numbers all things considered. That is one wicked Cam. Cars have trapped 133 MPH with a full compliment of goodies like a ported FAST 102
and LT Headers. You have a lot to look forward to.

I'm almost positive the ls7 works on the ls2.

LSCHLEM I got one pass yesterday and it was my first pass. The car went 11.37 at almost 124mph with a 7.42 at 97mph 1/8 mile and they started yelling at me to slow down. I did have one pass with a 1.71 60' that would have been a 11.25 pass, but I was running brackets and went 11.48 at 105mph with a 7.30 at 98mph 1/8 mile.
