It's been 18 months
When I first reported the fact that my directional signals would sometime speed up I was told there is a bulb ready to blow. It's been 18 months of living with this problem and all lights still work, and the directional signal keeps doing the annoying speeding up. HELP!!!

C6 does not have a flasher on the signal lamps, only for the Emerg 4-way flasher. The flash rate is controlled by the computer. As part of warning when a bulb is burned out, the computer will go into hyper flash mode to warn the driver he has a bulb out. Might have a high resistance connection at the bulb making the computer think the bulb is gone

I checked my service manual, there was nothing concerning your problem. I hope that someone with electrical experience will chime in. When you get to be my age, you don't use turn signals. Good luck.
