Now. I just jack from the side with the pucks and slide the ramps under the wheels. From there I can jack on up to jackstand height.
For changing the oil, though, I think you only really need to jack from the left, front puck location. The filter and drain plug are so easy to reach. Then you can drop it to drain.
The corvette is so easy to get to the oil change location. My 300C and Landrover are impossible -- gotta get 'em up high enough to get a creeper under... remove plastic skid plates, etc. = HASSLE.
One reason I have two 4-post lifts in my garage. Easy to stand under any of my cars, especially the Mercedes with the belly pan that needs to be removed to drain the oil.

On my wood ramps, I added a couple of drywall screws, screwed down with about 3/8" of the head sticking out, to the bottom of my ramps. When I position the ramps in the driveway, I set the ramps so the screw heads drop into an expansion seam in the concrete. Keeps the ramps from sliding when driving my car onto them.

You completely missed the point

No, I got your point. Just like the engineer that spec'd the lug nuts to be tightened to 100 lbs/ft. Had nothing to do with the lawyers. The engineer spec'd 100 lbs/ft because 30 or 60 or 80 lbs/ft was not adequate to do the intended job. But if a smarter C6 owner wants to ignore GM's spec and only tighten the lug nuts to 60 lbs/ft, so be it. The 100 lbs/ft spec is not there because the engineer didn't know his job and some GM lawyer said to make the spec 100 lbs/ft instead of 60 lbs/ft to keep from being sued when a wheel comes off. The 100 lbs/ft spec is there because an engineer said so. Same with the jacking points on the C6. An engineer determined where the jacking points should be, not some lawyer trying to cover GM's ***.
