The vast majority of your driving the rpm is near idle! Well below 2000 rpm, and many times below 1500 rpm.
That may be true when you're stuck in traffic around town in traffic, but how often do you go to more than 50% TPS below 2000 rpm? Have you ever gone WOT at 1500 rpm or less? If not, all a Maggie is doing is adding more power where it is not used.
If the OP has an A6, the answer is the car has never seen WOT at 2000 rpm because the A6 will force a downshift long before half throttle is even reached.
If you have an M6 and are in 6th gear on the highway and miscalculate a passing move, then maybe you been at WOT around 2000 rpm.
I like a TVS, but the discussion really should be power above 2k rpm, not below it. From 2k - 3k rpm, the maggie does shine compared to a centri. Sometimes I roll into WOT starting down at 2500, but an ECS centri kit is starting to catch up at that rpm.

I'm not talking WOT at low rpm, necessarily. I'm talking about feeling the extra oomph during normal driving, which is typically at the lower rpm's. Most driving on the street, traffic or not, is in the lower half of the rpm scale and at part throttle.
