Default Spark Plug Question

If you have an LS2 with LS3 style heads and a FAST intake with 224/230 cam and headers.

What plugs would you use?

Thanks!

Are the plugs you currently are running causing a problem?

Does the heat range seem to be ok?

Is the compression the same as stock?

If the answers are no, yes, yes, then why change.

Of course, 95.9% are going to say, NGK blah blah blah .......

Thanks!

It is OK today, but I don't know if the changes would require different plugs.

Just watch your charging system if you change plugs. The electrical noise generated by some plugs will mess with the charging of the battery. Yeah, I know it sounds impossible but its true.

Start with the stock plug. There is plenty of info on the net to help you figure out what heat range to use. Heat range is more important than the manufacture.

If you bump compression I would start with the stock plug unless you go more than 1 compression point, then drop back one.

If you drop compression I would start with the LS3 plug. Off hand I don't know if it's hotter or colder than the LS2 plug, but since they have slightly less compression, it would be a good start.

Thanks! I looked them up and LS2 and LS3 plugs are the same. To be frank, I don't even know why I am doing this because I can't drive the car as fast as it will go now...
