Works great and controlled through the regular radio controls.

I have one of these. Works great, though I prefer the headphone input to the 30 pin input. While you can control the iPod function from the nav screen, it's not easy to control. Using the headphone input, you control the iPhone from its own screen. Which is really handy if you use Pandora, or stream internet radio stations like I do.

Super simple to install. Plug and play, no splicing. Just be sure and specify if you have XM or not when you purchase, as they are two different units.
