I have a solid metal heavy TWM **** on my MGW shifter. NO rattle whatsoever. I never tried any other **** on it so I can't make any comparisons.

I have the MGW ball on my shifter. Like the shape but it gets way too hot in the summer!! In Arizona in september and could just barely touch the shifter. Probably will get the MGW race shifter without any metal trim.

Without the side by side comparison, do you think the heavy **** aids the shift?

I'm not sure. I went from stock shifter straight to the MGW with the heavy ****. The shorter throw of the MGW requires more effort but all the slop from the stock shifter is gone.
