Yes I do if it is on a regular basis or for extended periods of time. That is waaayyy out out the powerband of the stock cam anyways. There's no need to shift the car higher than 6500 because I think it would actually go slower. As an example I shift a stock A6 at 6200-6400 depending on which gear we are talking about. The 1-2 and 2-3 see a bigger drop so those are a little higher, and the others work better at 6200. Now when you get a cam with some good valve springs the motor can handle 7k no problem.

You actually want to add to this table not take away from it that would make the knock last longer.

Knock Fast Attack Recovery Rate vs. RPM: This is the rate at which knock retard is removed in the absence of further knock. The higher this value is the faster knock retard will be removed.

Haha yes you are correct I mistyped that in my rush. The tables do have an inverse relationship to each other when adjusting them. I edited my original post
