Help with reverse on 07 6 speed
I just did an engine swap on my 07 vert everything went perfect except when i put the car in reverse it still goes forward any ideas or info would be appreciated 570-760-6325 thanks chris 6 SPEED MANUAL

Be patient for help from members who know more about this but for now.....if it's 6 spd manual, you say shifter is in in Rev but I have to question, is it really? It may actually be in 5th, the Rev lockout solenoid may be blocking Rev if it's hooked up incorrectly or is defective. Other thought is shifter misalignment.
Don't know if you dropped the whole drivetrain but assume you did. While waiting for others to chime in, check everything over. Good luck.

You are blocked out by the reverse lock out solenoid. Make sure the connector is plugged in. Also, there is a chance you flipped the skip shift connector with the reverse lock out. I have seen that happen. Post your findings please.

If the shfiter itself has the capability to do a shifter alignment on it, then do that first. I'm referring to the alignment pins on the C-5's which made this easy. I do not know if the C-6 has this pin or not.
