Steering wheel Question Please help.

Does anybody know if a steering wheel from a 08c6 manual will work on an 06 manual. I know about the audio controls. Don't care about those. But is everything else identical without modifying anything else.

same wheel, just different wiring that can be transferred for different option (radio control, paddle shifter) the steering wheels are the same.

Great thanks. So I can just leave those wires intact and not use them since the car has no paddles or audio controls?
Maybe I can find a DIY install of a steering wheel swap on here.
