N2O?

Odd that when people want "bang for the buck" people bring up $1500 headers instead of a N2O kit priced about the same...

Just my $.02

I think thats because most of us dont drive our Corvettes a 1/4 mile all the time most of the time and like higher performance underfoot at all times. Giggle gas does has its place though.

It fits and it's steel.

Dont be scared of the cam my friend. I have a 232/234 .590 lift and it drives like stock in traffic. I have a little bit of stumble sometimes going into neutral where the rpms drop too low, but that is going to be tuned out by SpinMonster next week when I head up to his place to swap diffs with him. Nothing like some lumpedy lump at the light Definately go headers, that is a no brainer.

I've heard Kooks LT's and Corsa Sports, and I'd say I'll be right on the edge of waking the dead as it is at WOT.

If I can budget in a cam, I'm probably going that route. A smooth idle is a must, so I'll be talking in depth with the tuner / installer to make sure it's achievable (again, if I can afford it).

The Corsa Xtremes are just nasty..... they are raw, edgy, and harsh. They will not only wake the dead, but send them running out of their graves

Needless to say, I love them

If you want a smooth idle, I wouldnt even bother with cams. The cams that dont impact idle and dont have any lope to them are not worth the trouble and cost to install in my opinion.

It fits but you would just change out the flywheel from steel to aluminum.I did that to my c5 and it made a huge sotp feel, soon to do the same to my c6.

I'm set to get my Corsa Xtremes (traded my Sports last week) and my LG Superpro headers (1 3/4 with cats) tomorrow and a Vararam on Thursday. I'm hoping to install everything on Friday and I have to get an appointment with ECS for this weekend or early next week hopefully. I have heard LT's with the Xtremes and they are SICK!!!!! Still trying to figure out about the 160 stat. I will make a post with pics of the install? atleast the headers. I might throw the Xtremes on tomorrow since it will only take about 10 min since the over the axle pipes are already there because I haven't driven her in over a week.

A new wife will set you back 2/3's of your stuff. The remaining 1/3 is then available for mods unencumbered

Thanks. I'll check out the install guide when it arrives and let you know if I think an extra hand is needed.

Visited the LG Motorsports shop yesterday and had a good conversation with Bobby about their mild cam and pro headers. Waiting on a quote before deciding how far to go with things. The suspense is killing me!

Aluminum gas and dead pedal ordered, too.

Modding sure is fun!

Congrats. If you do the installs yourself you will come in under your budget. If someone else does all that for you I think you will spend over $4k.

I think 21st Century in Carrollton charges around $3500-$4000 for cam, headers, and tune I recommend calling John.

I'm planning on talking to them this week to see what they think would be a good cam for my needs, and also get a quote. Thanks.
