Default New Battery

I am approaching time for a new battery. How about the OPTIMA D34/78? Does anybody have an opinion on this? Also changing batteries, anything special to do to save settings or just reload? I have 2007 C6 Coupe LS2.

Thanks

The Optima is very popular and most are happy with it.......some think it's a waste of money. If you choose it I'm sure you'll be satisfied. Here's a site with great info, just click on "Battery-Optima" in the yellow pane on the left:

And nothing special to do when changing. You will have to re-index the windows when done. Here's the procedure for that:

Get in, close the doors
Start the car or turn on ignition
Raise the windows all the way up and HOLD the switches up for 3 seconds and release.
Raise and HOLD the switches up again for 3 seconds and release.
Done

Do not remove the nuts on the battery cables, just loosen them. Read the sad stories here:
