C6 Steering Wheel

I want to replace my C6 3LT steering wheel with a leather 2-tone wheel. Is it a DIY project or should I get somebody who know what they're doing to do it?

It can be a DIY if you have some basic ability and understanding. Probably the worst part is safely working with the air bag. Here are a couple threads to look at, see what you think:
