Default Running higher temps

Have an 07 Coupe weith a mild cam and it has never run over 185-190. Lately on the road I have noticed 220-230. Car runs fine but when I get home and shut down the cooling fans come on for a couple of minutes. Never did this before either. Any pointers on what to troubleshoot? Thanks VNVETT

Just because the front of the radiator looks clean, doesn't mean that the radiator isn't partially blocked with debris. Use a hose and rinse from the engine side out through the radiator. You'll be surprised how much crap comes out of it.

It could be an old thermostat not opening properly.

I have an 05 with a mild cam, I had a similar problem a few months back and it turned out to be the thermostat.
