Bored = Black Wrinkle
Just got bored with not modding the car. Trying to decide between UPP's twin turbo / H/C and a small N20 / Stroker.
It all depends on the cash...that I'm saving.
So to keep me busy, I decided to do something
Let me what you think. I painted the valve covers with VHT Wrinkle black and bought a bunch of allen head fasteners for the coil packs and the mounts. Looks pretty sweet
Before
After

I like it...looks very clean. How long do you figure it took you to do it all?

Not long-
To yank them about 30min.
Clean with brake cleaner and wipe clean and just rough em with some sand paper 45min.
Paint them with VHT Wrinkle in HEAVY coats (2days - last night 2 coats and today 1 coat) 1 hr.
Reassembly 45min.
Very easy to do and it does look cleaner, thank you

I like it very much. Hit the intake manifold with the same treatment and highlight the letters with LMB next

I was thinking the same thing but I'll wait until I yank the manifold again before I do it, but it will look great. Thank you

Looking good Jason!
Any plans for coil relocation so people can see your handy work a little better?

Not to mention you don't have to purchase special length plug wires.
Did you you try to put your fuel rail covers on? Mine fit but look a little out of place as they are The same color as my car and my fast intake is still gray.

Nope, I'm a cover hater, I tossed them as soon as I bought the car. You should be able to trim them a little but it may take a while getting it right-

Looks like you forgot to put a clamp on where the top part of your intake and bellow meet.

Nah, it's so snug on the Vararam that it's not needed if you push it on far enough. Not to mention it saves weight, the clamp
