Default drag setup for c6!!

Ok here's the deal. Over the past couple of weeks I have been working with mike from racestar ind. To see if they had some lightweight wheels that would fit the c6. And we came up with a set.. here's the measurements:
fronts 17x4.5 bs 2.25" offset -13
Rears 17x9.5 bs 7" offset +44
I've test fitted and ran them on my 06 z51 and have had zero problems. No rubbing, scraping or anything. And they look awesome! The only downfall to them is that both the front and the rears stick out of the fenderwells about 1" from the sidewall to the fender. It doesn't look bad at all but I know that people with stock suspension might b concerned with the tire hitting the fender. I have pfadt adjustable coilovers so I can adjust the ride height a little and stiffen the shocks up to make sure they wont hit. I really like mine and I've talked to mike about getting a group purchase together for you guys if y'all are int. This is a great alternative for a drag setup compared to spending a fortune on ccw's. Here's some pics..

And these pics were taken before I adjusted the ride height in the front, I had it lower than stock in the front so I had to raise it a little to clear the m&h 185/55.

Looks good, I assume that those are 275-40-17s on the back?

I weighed the rims before i put the tires on them, and this is what I got:
fronts w/ centercaps- 14lbs 8oz
Rears w/ centercaps- 20lbs 6oz
So not too bad...

The rears appear to be roughly $300.00 each with the fronts in the $180.00 range (before any group buy discounts of course), not bad.

How close were the rotors? For use with Z06 brakes and body panels we might have to run a spacer to clear the caliper.

I think they will clear 16 1/2" and they weren't that close to my z51 calipers. How much bigger are the z06 calipers and rotors, over the z51?

Yeah I must've been lookin' at the 15" skinnies...that's a bit more then but still cheaper than many other aftermarket options out there.

Any options for 17x11's for those of us with Z06's or Z06 rear fenders? I would be interested for the group buy.

Those look great!

I'll share a little experience I had with tires sticking out like yours. When you raise the car up, test it on a freeway dip to see if you've got any rubbing. That's where my 315's would rub before I got the wide fenders. They looked like yours - they didn't rub on launch or around town, but on the freeway I used to smell rubber on a big bump!

Talked to him today and they do not have anything wider than 9.5. Sorry. But the 9.5's would look fine with the wide body cuz look how they stick out on mine. They should tuck nicely on a z06
