Am I missing something here? Lingenfelter is one of the top tuners in the country. Was the work done in Indiana or Texas? Either place does excellant work.
I am not affiliated with LPE, although I have used them for mods in the past, with excellant results.

I think it's probably just an unusual circumstance. They have always been known for their quality so hopefully it gets sorted out when we take it back to them.
So what's wrong with it? I know that might sound like a dumb question but I don't know anything about super chargers. If something was wrong, why didn't you tell them when you picked the car up?
The guy that owns LPE is a very distant cousin, and his name being Lingenfelter, is more coinsidence than anything. He is a mega millionaire and apparently one hell of a car guy. An article on his huge car collection is in Vette Magazine.
I had heard good things about Lingenfelter in the past, but I had major problems when they worked on my engine. After 2 major failures in less than 2 years I had another tuner rebuild it and had no problems in the 2 years since. My impression is that quality and customer focus are not what they were when John was alive. After hearing my story others have reported problems in recent years as well - all of these were from the Indiana location so there may be no problems with Texas.
