Default Lingenfelter Performance Engineering

After a lot of talk I convinced my Uncle to buy a supercharger from LPE, .... this is a youtube of what he got before and after.

This is after it was trailered to Pingenfelter and fixed:

Am I missing something here? Lingenfelter is one of the top tuners in the country. Was the work done in Indiana or Texas? Either place does excellant work.
I am not affiliated with LPE, although I have used them for mods in the past, with excellant results.

I think it's probably just an unusual circumstance. They have always been known for their quality so hopefully it gets sorted out when we take it back to them.

So what's wrong with it? I know that might sound like a dumb question but I don't know anything about super chargers. If something was wrong, why didn't you tell them when you picked the car up?

Didn't LPE get bought out? Are they still using the same staff there?

Only thing I could discern was that LPE turned off the radio(that was playing in the background in video #1) in the second video.

John died several years ago and a cousin, I believe runs it now. They just hired a guy from GM Performance to run it.

The guy that owns LPE is a very distant cousin, and his name being Lingenfelter, is more coinsidence than anything. He is a mega millionaire and apparently one hell of a car guy. An article on his huge car collection is in Vette Magazine.

I had heard good things about Lingenfelter in the past, but I had major problems when they worked on my engine. After 2 major failures in less than 2 years I had another tuner rebuild it and had no problems in the 2 years since. My impression is that quality and customer focus are not what they were when John was alive. After hearing my story others have reported problems in recent years as well - all of these were from the Indiana location so there may be no problems with Texas.

Ken Lingenfelter took over (he's a distant cousin). They do some awesome work.
Here's Ken posing with my girlfriend and I at Amelia Island a year ago.
