Hi All, it looks like a couple of others have had this problem over the years but I only saw one person reply with a solution -- his dealership replaced a module under the driver seat.
The fuse isn't blown, and I checked the visible electrical connectors above the pedal area (after pulling the plastic cover off).
My steering wheel stopped telescoping yesterday and I'm now looking for solutions other than giving the dealership money.
You could try to tighten all the connectors under the seats. I did it to correct my check air bag light but it might work for the steering wheel also.
I used ZIP ties pulled tight with pliers.
VET4LES -- thanks for the tip -- that worked! I wouldn't have thought about checking connectors under the seat!
I bet the dealership would have charged me to replace a module, too.
CorvetteForum saves the day again!
Glad it worked. My dealer replaced the drivers side pre-tensioner that I paid $200 for as my part of the GMPP. As it turned out my zip ties fixed the problem several years later.
