Thinking about getting set of Michelins to replace the stock tires. Obviously staying 18/19. Gonna see LIMITED track time. Is there an option of going wider than the 325 on the back? How does the runflat option play into size options? This will be on stock wheels on an 08 Z thanks.
I put ps2 non run flats on my 2011 gs vert and its like driving a different car!!! No more tramlining issues for starters, the car rides like a an sl 55 Benz, the voice command system actually works better because the tires are silent compared to the Goodyear run craps now I'm sure the zp ps2 might handle better at the track due to the stiffer sidewall but I keep pushing mine harder and harder and for street use there insane. I drove a gs with the zp ps2 and there also nice just as silent but they rode harder! Not hard, just harder. If my car was a daily driver I would consider the zp but I definitely think the car drives better with a non runflat. I went with the 345/295 setup because it filled the wells better and looks the way it should have from the factory. I notice no difference in the way the car drives other than not scrapeing my driveway because there taller now. I hope this helps

Runflats always handle worse. You'll never see a serious track car with ZP tires.

Wondering what are your tire pressures on the PS2's?

I wouldn't expect to see any serious track car running street tires period. The op stated limited track time so he will be on street tires and many have stated they had better initial turn in with the stiffer run flat sidewall.

And I pointed out that that is simply not true Runflats will always, consistently, perform worse than the same tire in non run flat configuration (PS2 vs PS2 ZP are a great example). That is the main reason why the C5 Z06 posted higher skidpad ratings than the C6Z for instance. Their sidewall is too stiff and the tire is also much heavier. They are a compromise when you can't carry a spare, not a performance benefit that makes the car handle better.

GM spec on C5Z06 is 1.03g(on stock non-runflat tires)
GM spec on C6Z06 is 1.05g(on stock runflat tires)
