Default ZR1 wheels size

looking to get ZR1 style wheels for my Z06.

i need your advice in which size to get (18x9.5, 19X12 OR original ZR1 size 19 fronts and 20 rears).

1. which size will look better?
2. which size will give the car better traction?
3. which size will give the car better stability on the corners?

At the speeds the Z06 is capable of running(on a closed race track, of course) I wouldn't consider putting reproduction wheels on my car. That said, if I were to change over to ZR1 styled wheels on my Z06, I would only go with original equipment wheels(19/20) with the Michelin tires. Used ZR1 wheels and tires show up for sale ever so often in the for parts for sale section on this forum..

A 19" in the rear will certainly provide better traction, as for stability I cannot answer that for sure, but I could only assume the 19" would be better, but it may not matter there. As for look, that's a matter of opinion, I would personally think a 20 would look nicer, but wouldn't go that route due to tire choices.

Depends on what you are using the car for...the factory ZR1 rubber is pretty darn sticky for a street tire that you can still drive in the wet.

I don't think I would use them for drag racing, but a big power street car and occasional track use, not bad if you don't want to do a spare set with R rated rubber on them.

Of course there are other wheels out there than the ZR1 wheels. If you are going to seriously run the car hard, I would do a stronger wheel like one of the ForgeLine units and we can build them to order.
