Default Window Regulator Pulley Replacement

My drivers window stopped working on my 2007 C6. I pulled out the motor assembly and found that the motor works fine, the tracks work fine, the cables are fine but the pulley on the motor broke. It's a green pulley that the cables clip in to and has gears on one side that mounts it to the motor gear.

I can't find the pulley anywhere. The only options I have found are to buy a new one motor + cables + track assembly ($400+) or ship it to a guy in Brooklyn that will rebuild it for me. He won't sell me just the gear but that's all he will be replacing for $140!

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is that plastic pulley breaking such an abnormal occurance that no one will sell just the pulley?

Thanks!
Brett

couple of thoughts
(1) Corvette Recycling, a forum vendor, may be able to help.
(2) Local Wreaking Yard for a used motor with the pulley.
(3) Several members are parting out Vettes. May be willing to sell you a motor w/pulley

May be helpful to see if any other GM vehicle uses the same motor assembly.

Best of luck

I don't have an answer for you but I can say that both of mine have failed on my 2005. I had them replaced with the GMPP. Since then I have read of several others having the same problem. My suggestion is since this is a weak component don't go cheap as it could be expensive in the long run.
