This is how my car looks after being at work for a couple of hours this morning. The taillights are also illuminated.
DRL's won't turn off. Went for a drive thinking it might just be a crazy glitch and it would reset after. No luck. Also noticed that when rotating the light switch forward to turn off DRL's, the green light in the instrument cluster that says the DRL's are on, doesn't turn off. I ended up pulling the relay under the hood just to shut off the lights.
Suggestions on what might be causing the problem?
Daytime Running Light sensor on dash?
E-Brake switch?
BCM?
The green light on the dash indicates the headlights are on. The other green light indicates the fogs are on. If under warranty, I'd take it to dealer, the BCM (body control module) is probably going bad.
make sure you don't have anything covering the light sensor on the dash.
Even if you turn the lights on manually, they should shut off after 15 minutes. If thier not, the BCM is probably malfunctioning.
Might be the DRL relays, but I don't see why the brake or running lights would be on as well.

There is no DRL indicator or headlight indicator. The green light indicates that the parking lights are on.
I'd start by checking for a short to ground on the BCM side of the park lamp relay.
Tested the DRL running light sensor on the dash by covering it up. The headlights came on, then I manually turned off all the lights, and the "Headlamps Suggested" message popped up. So I don't think it's the DRL sensor.
Also, by manually turning off all the lights, the "parking light" symbol on the cluster stays lit up and the parking lights are still on. Only way to turn them off is by pulling the relay.

Have you tried replacing the relay, might just be sticking in the ON-position? Would be easy to try with another relay from the box.
The other thing to check is whetehr the relay is clicking when you try to turn the lights off, at least you know which side of the relay the issue is.
Went by a friends at lunch and he was able to get them to turn off. He held the switch for turning the lights off back for 10-15 secs. Lights went off and never came back on. I had tried multiple times to switch them off from the same place, but didn't hold it nearly as long as he did.
Something weird is going on. I hate electrical gremlins.

I feel your pain, although my issue is slightly different. In my case the fog lights go on and off randomly. I have even seen only one side come on while the other stays off. I can still turn them off (for a while) using the switch though.
