Default ZR1 suspension conversion?

OK I suck at searching because this has to had come up before and no combination of terms brought up any useful information, so I will post the obvious question.

With all the ZR1 body/blower conversions going on, has anyone looked into the suspension?

Are the ZR1 shocks any different than the F55? Is an F55 conversion really that cost prohibitive? Is a whole new PCM needed or is the control module separate?

Just curious what it would really take to make a C6 coupe perform near ZR1 levels across the board.

Here are 3 I found with a quick search. The question does come up regularly and the advice is always the same, too cost (and trouble) prohibitive. My thought is if you're willing to even consider something like this you would probably be well advised to just replace the stock suspension with good coil overs. Just sayin', and I'm certainly no expert but there are many here who may chime in. Good luck.
