When I was riding dirt bikes I would have given anything to lose 1 1/2 pounds of unsprung weight. I not so sure it's worth it for my daily driver. But pretty cool anyway.

Its just that the stock ones are closed at the end and these (which i do like) are open, with my wheels being chrome I'm conscerned that it may look tacky

These are made for the racers. They have to be open thread for the track.

Chrome would probably be the ticket.

Cool product for the die-hards. Probably easier for the rest of us to take a dump before getting in the car to save the 1.5lbs.

True, but then consider the guy that installed these lug nuts AND took that dump prior to making a pass, he still wins.

Or you could just go for a run once a week....

Cool product though, just seems silly what people will do to drop the vehicle weight, when its cheaper just to drop YOUR weight!

I believe the performance gains from these would be quite negligible if not nonexistent but this is a vendor's sale thread so I don't want to interfere with their advertisement.....even though I kinda just did, sorry.

That's pretty stupid; somebody comes out with a functional, nice looking product and that's all you have to say...

Go read another thread and don't bother posting!!!

Those are some trick looking lug nuts no matter what anyone says, and they have to be worth something in un-sprung weight. Especially being at the furthest point away from the base of the control arm. Where you at Glass Slipper!?

Sorry, but reducing un-sprung weight is quite different.
