Here is BEZ06's (he's the TPMS expert around here) answer to a similar question last month.

Have you checked the other tires? Most of the time when this happens there has been an issue with the tires/sensors being moved around on the vehicle without reprogramming the sensors. However, sometimes you will get a 0 psi reading, a xx flat tire message and a speed restricted to 55 mph message. This happened to me while I was on the track. First thing I knew the car was slowing and I saw the speed message. Then it went away and came back at the next turn and I saw the flat tire and 0 psi message so I pulled off the track and as soon as I did that the tire pressure reading jumped to 38 and stayed there. That happened about 7 weeks ago and hasn't happened since. I suspect it was due to some electrical interference but can't say for sure.

i checked them all when I first saw the problem. I havent rotated the tires so the tpms havent changed locations. I will try to have them reflashed and see if that cures it. thanks

Why dont you deflate and inflate the tire and see what happens, a change in pressure on the sensor may give a kick in the butt
