C6 Racing Trans
I'm looking to track day my 2008 ZO6 and want a transmission that has been modified so that I don't have to use the clutch to up or down shift..they are available. Does anyone know who provides these transmission?

http://www.xtrac.com/ makes the sequential transmissions used in the Corvette C6.R race cars. They don't require the clutch to shift gears.

Both of the above statements are correct.
I do believe Xtrac builds the C6R units but keep in mind, just like our GT2 car that is a complete transaxle unit and replaces the trans and diff. These also do not work with any stock parts like the torque tube or half shafts.
Now our Emco units that we are using in the GrandAm car and also for what we sell for the street/track customer are direct plug in units and retain a stock C6Z06/ZR1 diff unit and allow you to use the torque tube as well as the half shafts.
