Default Exterior LED light install

Has anyone replaced the 4 side exterior side lens with LED's? What do I need to do, take the front inner and rear fender parts loose to get to the sockets?

The back-up light bulbs. I have new LED's to install. How do I access the light sockets, remove the diffuser panel? Need instructions. I have a lift.

Thanks plenty.

For the reverse lights, all you have to do is climb under the rear of the car and you will be able to access the bulb and housing. You just reach above/behind the rear diffuser. No need to remover anything. For the rear side marker lights, you have to remove the outer taillight and you will be able to reach in thru the hole to the back of the side marker. For the front, loosen the outer portion of the fender liner and you should be able to reach your arm thru to gain access to the rear of the front side marker.

Now I will throw in my unsolicited $0.02 worth. The reverse lights are worth doing as they have a clear lens. The side markers are a waste IMO. Because of the red and amber lenses, there is no noticeable difference between the LED and standard bulbs. When I replaced the side markers, I couldn't tell any difference so I removed them and used them for other bulbs. I have replaced just about every bulb on my car with LEDs, but the side markers weren't worth it.

If the side markers don't work when you plug them in, turn them 180 degrees and try a again. Diodes only flow one way, so if you plug in wrong way they won't light up.

Thanks for the instructions. I would have never thought about removing the tail light to get a the rear side lens. The front I had a good guess. 2 of the LED's are flat on the diode side( only one diode). Are they for the front or rear side lens?
