I have a stock 2005 Z51. Tires were a at 15 psi. But constantly got 2.4/2,5 00-60 fts times. Do you think my mph will be greater with a better 0-60. Because 108 mph seems slow. I pass the finish line just after shifting into 4th gear.
Don't let those numbers discourage you. My first time out with my car I could only muster a 13.1 @ 110. The car was stock except a vararam. It was hot (90 degrees), elevation was 1500 and track prep was poor.
Needless to say, I went to another track with better street tires (INVOs), better weather & better track and pulled off a 12.7.
My point is weather and elevation will make any car run very fast or very slow. Hell, from one month to the next I ran .3 faster and @ 4MPH faster.
Judging by your 60ft times it appears as though you're having major traction issues. If you're on the stock runcraps, ditch them. Get some real tires. Almost anything will be better. My INVOs hooked pretty good @ 23PSI which is when I pulled off my 1.760 ft time.
My suggestion, better tires, better weather and better driving will get you quicker times.
