I have a stock 2005 Z51. Tires were a at 15 psi. But constantly got 2.4/2,5 00-60 fts times. Do you think my mph will be greater with a better 0-60. Because 108 mph seems slow. I pass the finish line just after shifting into 4th gear.
tried differents air pressure from 15-20-25-30 and always getting that kind of 0-60. I did good times with all cars I got in the past expect for this one. I mean If I can break into the 1.8-1.9 0-60 time will the mph be higher ?

Stock air pressure and easy stop sign start and you will go faster!
tried many things, and always got between 2.25 and 2.50. from a 1500 rpm to 3000 rpm. The car had a lot of wheel spin in second gear too. Many drivers said they were slower tonight than usual. Whats bogging me is my low trap speed. I am asking my self if my motor is still going strong.
Ouch. What elevation and air density is your track at? The thinner air at higher elevations robs huge power.
Thats about what i ran here in Albq. NM a couple of years ago track is at 5326 FT on stock run flats 13.5 at 108 MPH with a 2.2 to 2.4 60 foot & thats with aprox. 375 to 380 RWHP Z51 Manuel.

I little bit of spin won't hurt MPH, but a lot of spin - which you obviously had - will indeed kill both ET (drastically) and MPH.
A 1.9x 60 ft would likely put the car in the high 12's at 110+ mph.
I don't know what the DA was, but I wouldn't worry about it. We need more info.
When my car was bone stock it went 109mph down here in Houston (33ft elevation track) in the summer. Now it's one of the quickest bolton cars on the list.
from what I have read about the 05 C6 should he be trying to get traction any way? If he does hook up wont he just spit the rear end out from under the car?

Of course he worries about the air density. That will rob the power like crazy. He is asking for more mph. High elevation, high air density kills mph. Race at a track elevation like Albuquerque and your one of the quickest bolt on cars goes 114mph.

I'm fully aware of how DA effects ET/MPH
In my quick reply I didn't get my point across. I meant that he shouldn't worry about his et/mph right now until we get more info. I didn't mean not to worry about the DA.
Track elevation looks to be quite low at 204 feet.
