Stephen over at EG sent me a nice email this evening about my mystery problem. It appears that one of the valve springs took a dump and caused all the issues. Not sure if pushrod or piston is damaged yet, but will know tomorrow.
In the meantime, gonna get a set of Patriot Extreme LS Dual Valve Springs to replace this set.

You can likley see what mods were on it by examining the tune. Not sure what you used to look at the tune, but if you can pull it with HPTuners and send it to me, I can tell you what was modded, and likely why. This is a sad deal, sorry you got screwed.
