Ac hot
hi everyone i have a c6 A6 2008 with a full build by LG motorsports
cams,exhaust, built tranny , radiator,tranny cooler,thermostat ,bolt on's, shaved head etc etc , where i am its very hot and today it was 120+f , the ferion gas is full with the exact specs and pressure , i was driving around my house in the peakest hottest time which is inbetween 12pm to 6pm and the AC is blowing hot air , although fans are workin, compressor is working , and their is no air in the cooling system and fans are working but the AIR IS HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT
when i drove at night or when the weather got cooler the AC is working perfect COLD COLD COLD , the temps were never too much the maximum is reached was 220 and at night 215 or so i cant think of what else i can do , i tried adding 2 fans with a switch back in the time and it didnt work , ppl advised me to buy a vented hood but i still think thats not the way to go , their has to be something else i can do so please share with me your exepreinces if you live in a hot climate , sorry my english , but english is not my first language ..

Have you ever taken the car to a professional AC shop to have them check the pressures? In the case of R134 systems, too much refrigerant will cause the system to shut down just as if there's too little. I doubt your compressor is actually running.

Yes it's checked compressor is working is fine and pressure is fine I just went in a ride it was 124f outside and it was working ok not at it's best but u can feel some moments it produces hot air then cold but not like yesterday , yesterday it was dead hot all the time

Did any of the LG modifications occur shortly before you began encountering the AC problems? I encountered similar symptoms three years ago after installing headers. Short story is the added heat created by the headers sent my AC pressures too high and the system shut down the compressor till the pressures subsided. A short release of the refrigerant corrected the problem and I've never looked back. I could send you a link to the thread of my experience if you want....
