Thanks guys. We want to know the "real" deal on our work. If our manifold would have shown no benefit I would have stopped producing them tomorrow.
I was confident it would show well because we have learned through testing and experimentation. We appreciate Katech and we appreciate your business.

Chassis dynos are great for bragging and sometimes comparisons when done same day A-B. The basic problem is each dyno is different, with serveral brands, and some operators not familiar with the ECM GM safety protocol which can pull as much as 30 RWHP on a bad pull.
The engine dyno settles all that.
The engine dyno settles all that.

Wow! Man, applaud Jason for accepting and performing an objective test in addition to posting a result that favors porting of the LS3 intakes unless you want a few more horses with the FAST. Of course, BER a BIG THUMBS UP for a super porting job and putting out your product for testing. Thanks for honesty and honesty . . . says a lot for Katech and Bare Essentials Racing.

you have to remember the old saying to much can be a bad thing, when porting half the work out there is strickly show. meaning what looks good to the customer"oh that looks good must work well" no not the case if you remove too much or in the wrong area you can or will actaully hurt flow.ive seen some of these other manifolds ,they actually structually weakin the the manifolds by removing too much material. thanks katech,

I have asked Jason not to divulge specifics of our intakes. After all if we tell you exactly what we do then what good are we. LOL Thanks for all the kind comments. Remember BER produces these for $200 after core refund. You absolutely can not beat the bang for the buck or our prices for what you get. Also please keep in mind that we produce hand ported/polished LS 2/3/79 throttle bodies for all years. We look forward to serving you. Remember that when you buy from BER you will be completely satisfied or we take it back with no restocking fee or other charge and refund the purchase price.

Good enough Cajun-thank you for chiming in. Question though--do you port your manifolds the same, regardless of head choice, or does it vary? Reason I ask, I'm about to be doing my cam swap and was going to port the IM at the same time and I'm considering your services. I just have the factory LS3 heads.

Hey Jason are there anymore tests with our intake? I know last time we talked you said you wanted to hold onto it for more comparision. Thanks again brother

We port them the same way. We dont put much stock in "port matching". It sounds awesome but tests have shown conflicting data concerning benefit. We will stick with what we know works over and over again. Please do let us help you out and if you would like to get a set of ported LS3 heads and send those back as core let me know. You will get prices that are unbelievable and I think our expertise in porting is becoming more evident with every customer we provide worked parts to.
