Changing Differential ? How Difficult ?
Plan on changing out my rear , How difficult is it to do on jack stands ?

I had to R&R my trans (A6) twice recently, and I can tell you that getting the diff out and back in is not hard at all.

I put my RPM rear in on jackstands in about 3 hours. Definitely not hard at all.

If you have access to a hydraulic ATV or motorcycle lift (new they cost $80 to $120) it will be a big help in lowering and then raising the differential.

Anyone know the weight of the diff? Just found shipping weight is 80lbs.
