Default Aeroforce fuel pressure ?

I just installed the aeroforce fuel pressure sensor and set it up per instructions. but it is not reading correctly it reads 54 psi and I double checked the pressure with two different mechanical gauges and they both read 66 psi. I have duel walbros in the tank thats the reason for the 66 psi. does any body know what I need to do to get this thing reading correctly, it reads -.09 with the ignition on so I think it may need calibrated differently than the instructions say ,thanks.

I'd recommend contacting Aeroforce for assistance, their sensor is accurate to within .5psi, so being 12psi off I'm guessing your wiring is wrong somewhere. Are you sure you're using a 5V source and not 12V?

I pulled off the map sensor for 5v and I checked it. so I am sure its right. not much more in the wiring to mess up. I will double check it though. I will call aeroforce tomarrow. thanks.
I see Aeroforce does not have a phone # listed so I have sent an email. it would be nice if they had a tech line. it just seems you can not talk to any body anymore its either automated with a menu of options that don,t answer your questions or you have to send an email and hope somebody will actually read it and reply back in a reasonable time. so it takes days or weeks to resolve a problem that could be sovled in a few minutes on the phone.

Mine reads consistently high. I'm probably going to adjust the slope until it is closer to correct. I just have not hooked up a mechanical gauge yet to find out exactly how far it is off since I do not have a fitting on my non-stock fuel rails to connect to.

I am going to try adjusting mine until it reads zero with the ignition on and pump off and see what that does. as it is reading -.09 now I think its just the calibration numbers they gave in the set up instructions that are wrong, there really is not any way to get the wiring wrong as long as you have a 5v power source which I do.

Are you using a chassis ground or a signal ground?

If you unhook the connector, what does the gauge read?

The only other thing I can think of is what you and wallyj said - incorrect slope and intercept. Did you email sales@aeroforcetech.com ?

Just a warning on how they say 99% of their sensors fail:
If power to the sensor is removed, then you can disconnect the gauge from the OBD2 port. You must make sure that the sensor is not powered up while the gauge is still unplugged. Some people will unplug the gauge to use a programmer of other scan tool but leave the sensor connected to the unplugged gauge. Then they turn on the ignition and create this problem. This is what we warn about in the instructions and what kills 99% of the sensors.

The issue is having a powered sensor, non-powered gauge, but the signal wire still connected between the two.
So if you're going to disconnect the battery or unplug the gauge, make sure to unplug the sensor(s) first.

I have it grounded to the chassis, I have not disconnected the battery or gauge so thats not the problem I have not checked to see what it reads with the sensor unplugged yet i will do that when I get home. yes I emailed them waiting to for a reply.
